Three-day long e-induction for newly admitted students was concluded successfully at Shoolini University on Thursday evening.
New students showed great enthusiasm and zest with a variety of activities and academic learnings. A virtual session of Yoga was organised for the fitness of the students. Followed by detailed introduction to MyShoolini App and open elective courses and, to keep students engaged a fun poll- ‘Know your campus’ was also conducted.
Expert lectures was delivered on various themes including ‘say no-to-drugs’, ‘safety on the road’ and ‘social media’ which has been followed by guest lecture with Mr. Vivek Atray, former IAS officer and Tedx speaker. The students enjoyed a fun class Bollywood Dance session at the end of the day. Students were informed about the working of the e-univ platform in detail, and then introduced with writing seminars which work in order to improve student’s proficiency in English.
An amazing story-telling session was conducted by Sandeep Kocchar, innovative and inspirational speaker and storyteller.
The induction programme ended after an interaction of fresher with their faculty members and seniors in a programme “meet and greet” session.
Vice-chancellor Prof. P K Khosla appreciated all the students and faculty members for a successful e- induction and wished them a great and fruitful academic session ahead.
