In next five days weather will remain variable and light to medium rainfall is expected
at widespread places. Maximum temperature 28-30oC and minimum temperatures
20-21oC is expected .Relative humidity will remain between 48 to 94 per cent and
wind speed between 4-5 km/h from NE direction.
General Advisory
Keep the orchards neat and clean after fruit harvesting. Also avoid the stagnation of
rain water in the orchards for longer time which may cause root & stem rotten
diseases. Crop Advisory
Vegetables:- Tomato, Chillies, Brinjal : Stage: Vegetative Growth/ Flowering/ Fruit
development
Do hoeing & weeding in vegetables crops like capsicum, frenchbean,Bitter gourd ,Bhindi,
Brinjil,Pumpkin and other crops.Remove chlorosis, damaged & disease. keep the field neat and
clean to avoid any spread of disease. Sowing of Arkel Pea ,Spinach, Methi and raise the nursery
cauliflower and cabbage. In high hills area farmers are advised to sow the winter vegetables
crops like radish, carrot,turnip etc.
Fruit Crop:-Pomegrante, Apple Stage: harvesting/Peaking
Remove the all the bushes from the orchards and collect them in a corner out of the orchards
or in a courtyard for self use or destroy them. Continue the picking of Apple fruit and finish
as soon possible and keep the orchards neat and clean.
Beekeeping:-
Rainy seasons is not so good for bees. During this seasons bees become lazy and not working so
accordingly give a sugar solution to the bees colonies.
Mushroom Cultivation:-
Those farmers have already prepared the compost they are advised to mix span @ 1 kg/100
kg of compost and filled it in the polythene bags@ 10 kg per bag. Closed the bag and make
10-15 holes around, put it in the Mushroom growing chambers and keep the temperature 25
deg Celsius.
