temperature is expected to range from 24-25oC & 1-2oC. Relative humidity will
remain between 16 to 44% and wind speed 7-8 km/h from SE direction.
General Advisory
Farmers are advised to plan and layout and digging of pits for the new orchards.Apply well rotten
FYM to all the orchards.
Crop Advisory
Fruit Crop:- Apple Stage: Harvest
In temperate fruits like Apple, Pear, Apricot, and Almond; farmers are advised to
apply recommended doses of manures and fertilizers.
Vegetables:- Onion, Cauiliflower: Stage: Sowing/ Transplanting
Farmers are advised to apply 1/3 dose of fertilizers (Nitrozen) in cole Crops , cauliflower , cabbage
knol-khol and stalking in pea crops after earthing up.
Floriculture:-
Plant the bulbs of lilium under shade net houses. Harvest the flowers of Chrysanthemum
for markets.Where the flowers have already been harvested supply the plants well
rotten FYM so that growth of suckers can take place.
Mushroom Cultivation:-
When the casing layer spread completely then raise the temperature of compost up
to 16-18oC and provide fresh air in the room for 3-4 times per day for 30-60
minutes.
Animals:-
Protect the animals from cold especially young one. Keep proper ventilation in the animals shed. Small
animals, youngs ones, calves should be covered with gunny bags during the night time.
