General Advisory
Framers are advised to do farm operations and apply recommended doses of fertilizers/ pesticide etc.as
per the packages and practices. Manage yellow rust disease of wheat by recommended fungicide application.
Wheat aphid may appear because of prevailing weather therefore farmers are advised to be vigilant.
Crop Advisory
Fruit Crop:- Temperate Fruits Stage: Dormancy, New planting
Temperate fruit plants and their parts effected by the Canker disease may be cut and burned out. Canker
affected area cut to the healthy part and do painting with fungicides. After training and pruning sterilizer the
implement with Copper oxichloride (50gram/10 litre of water) by dipping them for 15-20 minutes in the
solutions.
Vegetables:- Onion, Cauiliflower, Pea: Stage: Flowering
Prepare the bed for raising the nursery of tomato, capsicum, red chilli. Treat the soil of prepared bed
before sowing the seeds of the crops. Pea is in flowering to pod formation stage so there should not be
a shortage of soil moisture/irrigation in it. Do stalking in pea and give support to the plants. Do hoeing
& weeding in winter vegetables.
Floriculture:-
Planting of carnation may be continues in well prepared fields at recommended spacing and with FYM
and fertilizers doses. Farmers are also advised to prepare their fields for the planting of gladiolus.
Bee Keeping:-
In area where the bee colonies may be suffering from Nosena Diseases due to which bees suffer from
dysentery and became lazy. Do not transfer these bees to a new and clean beecolonies and frames.
