In next five days weather will remain variable . From 06-08 March thunderstorm, hails, rainfall /
snowfall is expected at all places.Maximum & minimum temperature will range between
21-28oC and 8-10oC, respectively. Moderate and gusty winds also expected with 7-9 kmph
speed from East-North-East direction.Relative humidity will fluctuate between 30-94%. General Advisory
Rainfall/Snowfall is expected on 6-8, March so farmers are advised to withheld any kind of irrigation in
their crops and vegetables.
Crop Advisory
Fruit Crop:-Temprate Fruits Stage: Dormancy, New planting
Temperate fruit plants and their parts effected by the Canker disease may be cut and burned out. Canker
affected area cut to the healthy part and do painting with fungicides. After training and pruning sterilizer the
implement with Copper oxichloride (50gram/10 litre of water) by dipping them for 15-20 minutes in the
solutions.
Vegetables:- Onion, Pea, Cauiliflower: Stage: Vegetative / bulb formation/Pod formation
Prepare the bed for raising the nursery of tomato, capsicum, red chilli. Treat the soil of prepared bed
before sowing the seeds of the crops. Pea is in flowering to pod formation stage so there should not be
a shortage of soil moisture/irrigation in it. Do stalking in pea and give support to the plants. Do hoeing
& weeding in winter vegetables.
Floriculture:-
Planting of carnation may be continues in well prepared fields at recommended spacing and with FYM
and fertilizers doses. Farmers are also advised to prepare their fields for the planting of gladiolus.
Animal Husbandary:-
Keep the animals shed closed.Keep the doors and window covered with dry gunny bags so that cold wind
cannot enter directly in the animals shed.
Bee Keeping:-
In hilly area the beekeeping may be suffering from Nosena Diseases due to which bees suffer from dysentery
and became lazy. Do not transfer these bees to a new and clean beecolonies and frames.
