In next five days weather will remain variable and rainfall is expected with thunder & lightening on 21-
23 March at isolated places. Maximum & minimum temperature will rangebetween 24-29oC and
9-12oC, respectively. Moderate and gusty winds also expected with 9-10 kmph speed from East-

Crop Advisory
Vegetables:- Tomato, Capsicum Stage: Preparation of nursery
Apply recommended doses of fertilizers if sufficient moisture is there in the soil. For
growing tomato/ capsicum crops farmers may prepare nursery beds.
High Hilly Area- Pea Stage: Growth
In Pea crops apply second dose of Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) fertilizer @4
kg/bigga by ensuring proper moisture in the soil.
Fruit Crop:- Apple, Pear Stage: Flowering & Fruit Setting
To improve the pollination in temperate fruits 2-3 beecolonies per acre may be
placed in the orchards. Those orchards having not proper ratio of pollinizer cultivars
farmers are advised to prepare bouquet to flowers of pollinizers branches & hang
around the tree. In old tree graft 2-3 buds of pollinizer in upper branches in all
direction of the fruiting tree.
Floriculture Crops:- Apply FYM @ 5 kg 1m2
in the suckers of Chrysenthemum in
all zones of HP for better sucker development & their branching.
Animal Husbandary:- The malnutrition in young female cattles may reduce their
growth,delayed in come to heat, effect the conception & gestation related problems.
So that give them the feed having 30% of maize, 10% of gram, 20% of Wheat
choker, 35 % of Moongfali cake 3% minerals & 2 percent of salt.
