In next five days weather will remain variable and light rainfall is expected on 28-29 March at isolated
places. Maximum & minimum temperature will decrease and may rangebetween 28-29oC and
8-11oC, respectively. Moderate and gusty winds also expected with 8-9 kmph speed from East-
North-East direction.Relative humidity will fluctuate between 28-29%. General Advisory
Keeping in view sufficient moisture in soil due to recent rains farmers are requested to apply
recommended doses of fertilizers to their crops.
Vegetables:- Onion, Pea, Cauiliflower: Stage: Sowing / podding / Cord development

Green Houses:-To maintain the temperature for the already planted crops keep all the upper ventilation
closed from evening to moring hours. Supply the irrigation and nutients through drip methods.
Apple, Pear Stage: Flowering & Fruit Setting
To improve the pollination in Apple & Pear 2-3 bee colonies per acre place in the
orchards. Those orchards having not proper ratio of pollinizer cultivars farmers are
advised to prepare bouquet to flowers of pollinizers branches & hang around the
fruit trees. In old tree graft 2-3 buds of pollinizer in upper branches in all direction of
the fruiting tree.
Floriculture Crops:- Sow seeds of summer seasons annuals like Zinnia, China
aster, Marigold in the low hill zone of HP in the nursery beds.
Due to the shortage of green grass there may be deficiency of mineral & protein in the animals which may
cause the inability of the animals to come into heat and conceive. So farmers are advised to add 30-50 g
of mineral mixture in the daily feed. As temperature will increase slightly which may cause the attack of
outer side parasites. Farmers may spray Sypermethrin @ 2-2.5 ml per liter of water on the body of the
animals to control these parasites.
