Weather Forecast for next 5 days

In next five days weather will remain variable.Light rainfall is expected on 31 May to 1st June,2021 with
thundering and lightning at isolated places. Maximum temperature will remain same as being
experienced on Monday i.e 32-35oC minimum temperature will increase and may range between 15-
17oC.Moderate winds also expected with 8-9 kmph speed from East-North-East direction.Relative
humidity will fluctuate between 28-67 %.

General Advisory

Complete the sowing of bhindi, frenchbean , bitter gourd and other gourd crops if not done earlier.
Perform hoeing, weeding and apply fertilizers to already raised crops of tomato & Capsicum.

Fruit Crop:-Temperate Fruits Stage: Fruit Development
In temperate fruit nursery plants It is right time for operations of single steming and removal of grafting
strip.For quaility improvement in citrus apply 1.5% foliar spray of CaCL2. Perform mulching of tree basins
of temperate fruit trees if not done earlier.
Vegetables:- Bhindi, Tomato Stage: Sowing/ Transplanting
Perform sowing/ planting of ginger and bhindi. Transplant seedlings of tomato, capsicum chilli and brinjal
if not performed earlier. Do perform sowing of Frenchbean, bitter gourd cucumber and bottle gourd as
soon as possible if not done earlier.
Apiculture:-
Provide well developed healthy new queen to the bee colony in which the queen is weak and not functioning
properly. The time is also suitable for raring new queens. Give extra frames to the colony for getting more
honey accumulation for enhancing the yield. The colony may be divided to increase the numbers.
Animal Husbandary:-
Dairy farmers are advised to get their animals vaccinated against Hemorrhagic septicemia and black
quarter. Feed pregnant and lactating cows and buffaloes with balance feed including mixtures of
minerals etc.
Also keep the cowshed neat & clean and do not allow the water to stagnate in the cow shed.
